AgeTech Collaborative? from AARP
We discover innovators, accelerate technology and foster collaboration to make?aging easier for everyone
We’re closing out 2022 with another outstanding group of AgeTech companies.
From ground-breaking identity protection to fully ADA accessible living units, these founders will experience hands-on mentorship and community with like-minded entrepreneurs over the next eight weeks. With the help of our accelerator team at AgeTech Collaborative? from AARP these startups will gain rapid insight into the $8.3 trillion longevity economy and can tap into a breadth of resources like consumer insight tools, subject matter expertise, growth marketing services, UI/UX design guidance, unique cohort-only events, and more – all customized to meet their specific goals and needs.
?Introducing our 2022 Cohort:
Amicus Brain: One of the toughest challenges we face as we age is that of living well even when we deal with medical adversities, especially that of Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias. Amicus Brain's extensible Care Platform and the easy to use Digital Advisor Apps harness data and AI to make dementia care management easier, increase self-efficacy, and enable and sustain aging at home.
Dentity: Financial scams disproportionately affect older Americans, which result in irreversible economic losses and psychological distress. As more of our lives are spent online, many of these scams can be prevented by using Dentity, the free service that verifies the identity of the people you interact and transact with online and protects your information with a new level of privacy and security.
Labrador Systems: Mobility and pain are the most common issues impacting daily activities in the home as individuals age. Labrador is developing a new generation of practical assistive robots that physically help individuals maintain their independence, extend the impact of caregivers where needed, and act as a force-multiplier for digital health and connected applications.
Livindi: Technology that helps seniors stay active, healthy, connected and independent. The name of the company comes from 'Live' 'Independently'. It provides seniors, their caregivers, family and providers an easy to install kit that gives them video-communication features, activity monitoring sensors, biometric sensors, AI notifications of issues as well as a live concierge who can assist with their daily needs.

Prisidio: Technology that enables everyone to centrally and securely store, organize and share their most important content allowing them to be prepared for whatever the future may bring—expected or unexpected.
Rose Health: A digital mental health platform that leverages deep tech and deep science for the early detection of anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Once the patient is identified, Rose leverages in-house algorithms to frictionlessly move the patient from early identification to intervention and sustained remission. In doing so, the Rose Health: Empowered Aging platform empowers users to access valuable resources, create loose connections to prevent isolation, and ultimately take control of their mental health.
Springrose: A consumer company designing adaptive intimate apparel that improves quality of life for women with limited mobility because of injury, illness, or disability. Their unique, innovative bra design helps women get dressed painlessly and independently, thereby restoring dignity.
Vivo: Technology that provides small group personal training online that, unlike video or live-streamed classes, is a live and interactive two-way experience that addresses the loss of strength and independence in older adults.
Wheelpad: Wheel Pad builds fully ADA accessible living units that readily attach to existing homes to ensure older adults and those with disabilities can continue living safely in the homes they love with their families. WheelPad offers a beautiful, convenient, and affordable home-based alternative to extended stays at rehab centers and nursing homes.
