What inspired you to join atai??

During the early stages of my professional career, I realized that the most gratifying validation a job can offer comes from working on or for something you genuinely care about. As I embarked on my personal mental health journey in 2021, I found myself deeply inspired by atai's extraordinary mission, which addresses a significant and widespread unmet need in the world.?

Can you describe your role at atai??

I cover all things European HR for our wonderful colleagues in the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands. This encompasses various aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, policy design, employee retention, culture building... the list goes on!??

How does the company culture at atai align with your personal values and aspirations??

A huge part of the culture at atai stems from our values - Bold Entrepreneurship, Radical Responsibility, Innovative Collaboration, and Conscious Care. Four areas that together in harmony, create balance. Balance is essential in life, and I’m grateful that atai enables me to bring my whole self to work but also respects that we have lives outside of work.??

What personal passion project are you working on outside of work??

Outside of work, I love to travel. Having been a flight attendant in my previous life, nothing excites me more than exploring the unknown of somewhere new. When atai presented me with the opportunity to relocate to Berlin, our headquarters, I simply couldn't say no. Almost four weeks in, and it really was the best decision. I'm learning a new language, culture, cuisine, and making many new friends. I’m so fortunate I was able to merge my personal passion with my professional, and I owe atai a big THANK YOU!??
