Finding our own inner power is a sure-fire way to inspire others. For this award category in the Wedu Women's Leadership Awards we are celebrating women who have utilised their own power to build up others. The eight women listed below as our Collective Power Catalyst finalists have demonstrated solidarity, care, and inclusivity across their careers and volunteerism.

Kim-Hang Ho is a trailblazer using technology for social impact. With a rich background in global economics and a fervent passion for gender equality, she masterfully bridges the gap between technology and activism. From grassroots storytelling projects in Vietnam to influential policy forums in Asia, Kim-Hang empowers communities and drives systemic change, proving that innovative approaches in tech can profoundly enhance collective power and create a more equitable world.

Wedu mentor and Steering Committee Member from Hong Kong
Victoria is a seasoned communications and partnership professional with a diverse background spanning non-profit, PR, and tech sectors across Hong Kong, Bangkok, Shanghai, and Toronto. A passionate advocate for mental health, refugees, migrant women, and youth, Victoria has been supporting multiple non-profit organisations such as TEDxWomen, She Loves Tech, and Centre for Refugees.
As a mentor and steering committee member at Wedu, she is committed to empowering aspiring women leaders across Asia to achieve their personal and professional aspirations. As a strong believer in the power of community, Victoria actively seeks opportunities to drive purposeful change through meaningful partnerships.?
Ma Thessa Ramos ????
Wedu Mentor from the Philippines??
Ma Thessa is a dedicated conservationist championing community-based ecosystem restoration, empowerment, and development. With over 15 years of experience in regenerative agriculture, sustainable livelihoods, and native tree conservation, she has led numerous initiatives promoting environmental stewardship and climate resilience.
She is the co-founder of Eastern Visayas Society of Native Tree Conservation Inc and Ecoversities Ph, the latter aims to establish native tree arboreta in schools in her country. Ma Thessa was recently awarded the Gender and Development Champion award in the field of Biodiversity Conservation and Climate Action by DENT Biodiversity Management Bureau.
Vath Sokkhorng? ????
Wedu Leadership Programme participant from Cambodia
Sokkhorng VATH is an activist in climate adaptation and resilience from Cambodia. Since 2020 Vath hashas been working with USAID Cambodia where her main role is to lead several green groups. She is a powerful force in her workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed.

Farhina Hoque ????
Wedu Rising Star and Local Chapter Steering Committee Member from Bangladesh
Farhina earned her bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the Asian University for Women and completed her minor in Development Studies. Over her career, she has worked with the Danish Refugee Council on GBV cases, Caritas Bangladesh, and the Corporate Social Responsibilities department of UNIQLO. Farhina is a Rising Star at WEDU and recently served as a committee member of WEDU's Local Chapter Steering Committee.?
Ade Damayanti ????
YSEALI WLA alumni from Indonesia
Ade Damayanti is an empowerment leader, podcast producer, and certified UPG Sustainability Leader. For the past five years Dayamanti has collaborated with organisations, NGOs, and clients to design training programs that empower youth and lead communities on four remote islands: Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, and East Nusa Tenggara. She has also been selected as an Energy Leader by the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
In 2023 and 2024 Dayamanti participated in the Sustainability Leadership Program at Hurricane Island in the United States of America, which strengthened her commitment to sustainability and positive global change. After the program and to amplify her impact, she began the 'Teman Bicara Damay' podcast - a platform promoting creativity, harmony, and community engagement to foster positive change. She has recorded over 85 episodes, featuring guests from around the world, showcasing diverse perspectives and inspiring stories.

Wedu Rising Star and Rising Star Ambassador from India
Chandni is a Social Innovator and the founder of Daanam LLC and iAmImpactUnited Global, initiatives focused on bringing people together through collective action. Chandni's professional background spans Data Analytics and Programming, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's in Operations Research.
At Daanam LLC, Chandni is dedicated to working with innovative initiatives like iAmImpactUnited Global where, through their Impact Actualization Management (IAM?) Platform, they are able to turn the vision of impact-making into a more accessible, achievable reality. By utilizing the IAM? Platform, iAmImpactUnited Global bridges divides to create a more connected and empowered world.
Ana Maria das Neves Soares ????
Wedu Rising Star, Rising Star Ambassador, Leadership Programme participant from East Timor / Timor-Leste
Ana is a professional in Public Health who has worked across international and local NGOs with a focus on gender violence issues and maternal and child health. She has also worked with the civil society organisation REBAS-Tl (Rede ba Saude Timor-Leste) on the project Health Networking, which aims to strengthen the health system in Timor-Leste.
