After 2-years covid lockdown the world is finally opening. For me one of the worst things has been that I have not been able to meet people in real life. For sure teams and webinars are good and fulfilling their purpose. But nothing beats the real discussions between people. You will miss a lot of small things and real conversation when you do it over digital space. Maybe in the future we will mostly meet in digital space in avatar form. Who knows if metaverse Is taking over and real-life meetings will cease to exist?

3rd to 5th of May we will have the Teknologia 2022 show in Helsinki exhibition convention. It will offer wide variety of technologies from components, automation, ICT to robotics and autonomous driving.

EDGE Computing Tinker Boards from ASUS IoT

Tinker board is offering family of computing boards with various Risc -based CPUs’. You can find boards which are excellent replacement for example Rasperry Pi boards which are currently on very hard allocation. With minor changes you are running your application with Tinker Board. On the upper end of this offering you can find google TPU -based boards which are suitable for machine vision AI -applications.

Smart crane running in imx8Plus smarc platform

Human Machine Interfaces will transform through digitalization and artificial intelligence. Operations and interactions between humans and devices/machines will become more natural and intuitive. Our software expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) combined with latest Avnet Embedded hardware enables the transformation of non-voice devices to naturally and intuitively controlled products. We are showcasing crane demo running imx8Plus smarc. It is recognizing user and crane is operated voice-controlled concept is Simple Voice.

Simple Switch in different smarc architectures

The other interesting demo is our smarc demo with Simple Switch software stack enabling user to chance the smarc -module to a different one and still maintain the functionality without changing anything in the actual software code. In this demo you will see an tractor controlled by NXP imx8 and Intel Elhard Lake based smarc modules which are changed on the fly.
