A recent global survey showed that 1 out of 4 young people ages 16 to 25 feel the same way. That's a referendum on the future we're creating and a wake up call for us all to get involved.

I was delighted to speak at the World Happiness Summit WOHASU ? in London. ?What I'm reading:

• ?Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler- this national bestseller was published in 1993 and is set in 2025. Climate is front and center in this sci-fi, fantasy solarpunk tale of how ultimately community will save us. It's an intense, brilliant read.
• The Impact Series by CK Westbrook- a sci-fi about Space Force, aliens, corruption and guns. A page turning series from Corry Westbrook .
• Glacial: The Inside Story of Climate Politics by Chelsea Henderson . This must-read compelling (and frustrating story) about how we are where we are with climate policy comes out August 6th.

What I'm listening to:

• ?Song Exploder Crowded House "Don't Dream It's Over" - A matchbook provided the percussion on the demo. Worth a listen on how this iconic song came to be.
• The New Books Podcast with Dr. Karyne E. Messina - I enjoyed talking with Karyne of the Climate Psychology Alliance about mental health, culture change, climate action, and how she saved a unicorn.
• The SuperPsyched Podcast with Adam Dorsay, PsyD, CPCC - We discussed the psychology of individual behavior change and the critical need for community and collective climate action. As Adam reminds me, no one wants to bowl alone.
