Meet Deasyl - A Green Chemistry Revolution

This week the Fongit team interviewed Deasyl and here is what they had to say:

1. Tell us a bit about your company and what is the problem you are solving?

Deasyl is a sustainable tech company that develops green processes for the petrochemical and fine chemical industries. The processes used allows us to reduce carbon footprint and increase efficiency thanks to our patented technology, Mechanochemistry in temperature. Our most advanced project is the production of sustainable biodiesel. Biodiesel represents a huge market used by trucks and ships in order to reduce the use of gasoline. The existing processes used to produce biodiesel are complex, expensive, and not profitable for little facilities. Our process allows for both large-scale and small-scale production, which is cost-effective and sustainable.

2. Why did you decide to base your company in Geneva/Fongit and what benefits did you see here?

Switzerland leads the way in sustainable energy implementation. Geneva is characterized by its international and inspiring business environment. Fongit is a hub of innovation and technology. These factors made the decision of basing Deasyl in Geneva evident.

3. What are the next milestones in your company's journey?

Currently, we are looking for a pre-Serie A to continue to sustain our project development. In 2024, we will be looking for a Serie A. Our goal is to continue to develop sustainable patented technologies that respond to the 2030 challenge for fine chemical and petrochemical industries. Our solutions target energy costs and promote a circular economy.?

4. What is your message for other entrepreneurs?

A lot of people have great ideas, but only a few decide to start a business. Our message is "Dream big, pursue your dream, work hard, and share!"?
