Meet Danny ??

Who's Danny?

I am a young fifty-something, with 28 years of experience. I have always worked in the world of technology, mainly on the consulting side. I have led three start-ups to date. Easy to say I am and always will be an entrepreneur. So, my passion lies in helping clients to achieve their business objectives with new technologies and innovation.?

As a sales manager, my first priority is to help my colleagues to be successful. Some of them require more mentoring than others, and that is fine. This manifests itself in sales meetings and biweekly on-to-ones.? Additionally, I regularly meet our technology partners and I also work operationally with some of our strategic customers.? As the spokesperson and point of contact here, this leads to additional meetings (laughs). Finally, at a Bluu-level (the cluster where Nimbuz is part of), I also look at the most effective ways to handle sales-related topics.

What are Nimbuz's goals and how do you plan to achieve them??

Bluu’s (the cluster which Nimbuz is part of) ambition is high: double the organization in the years to come. And that will not happen without a focus on sales, of course. The last 3 years, we have grown double digits and we should maintain that growth. We need to make sure that we support Bluu’s ambition.

The Nimbuz model works, that is for sure. But we continuously look for improvement. We do believe that we need to extend the Nimbuz team with sales rockstars, who dare to crawl on stage and can convey the story to the customer through the right storytelling. Not a typical sales profile, but a storyteller!

Achieving these two objectives is certainly an ongoing challenge with the given complexity of the Cronos network and the current war for talent. On the one hand, we want to lighten the complexity of the Cronos group for our clients, but then it is up to us to understand and translate this complexity. On the other hand, it is very difficult to find good sales profiles, probably because I am quite picky (laughs).
