Meet Damien Holley, Porsche Centre Gold Coast Dealer Principal

Porsche Centre Gold Coast is embarking on an exciting transformation with the development of its state-of-the-art Destination Porsche showroom. While this significant upgrade is underway, a temporary facility will ensure seamless service for Porsche clients and enthusiasts. Porsche Centre Gold Coast’s Dealer Principal, Damien Holley, shares insights into this transition and what customers can expect.

About Destination Porsche

The new Destination Porsche format is part of Porsche’s global vision for redefining the customer experience. With demand growing steadily Damien comments “rising from 90 vehicles sold annually in 2014 to over 550 in 2024—Porsche Centre Gold Coast is adapting to better serve its clientele”. As work begins at the 1 Harvest Court showroom, operations will relocate to a dedicated temporary sales facility at 92 Minnie Street, Southport. This temporary site will be the home of Porsche sales on the Gold Coast for approximately 12 months, ensuring business continues seamlessly while the new facility takes shape being scheduled for completion by April 2026. The new facility, Destination Porsche, will double the current showroom space and elevate customer interactions to an entirely new level.

The Temporary Facility at Minnie Street

During construction, operations will move to a temporary sales facility located at 92 Minnie Street, Southport. This dedicated showroom will feature:

  • A 12-vehicle display, showcasing both Porsche new and Porsche Approved models.
  • Onsite customer amenities for a premium experience.
  • Parking facilities, including on-site spaces and valet options.

The temporary facility will ensure all regular operations—test drives, sales consultations, customer deliveries, and finance services—continue uninterrupted. Familiar faces from the Harvest Court team, including our Sales Manager Jason Robertson and the rest of the team, Showroom Host- Penny Booker, and Business Manager John Lim, will provide the same exceptional service.

What About Servicing?

Service operations remain smooth and efficient whilst Destination Porsche is commencing development. “During our transition period, we have completed our off-site Porsche service factory, which is essentially bigger than the current workshop”, Damien comments.

This new workshop has increased capacity, ensuring prompt and quality care for all Porsche vehicles. For our Porsche customers, nothing really changes, with vehicle drop-off and pick-up to continue at 1 Harvest Court. With servicing conducted at our offsite Porsche Service Facility, our Porsche service team will Valet your car, take it to our new workshop, work on the car, and then have back ready at 1 Harvest Court in the afternoon.

Enhancing the Customer Experience

“The temporary facility is not just about maintaining services; it’s an opportunity to innovate and connect” Damien explains.

Expect pop-up events across Gold Coast shopping centres and even a roadshow in Northern New South Wales, bringing the Porsche experience closer to communities, and opportunities to explore the full Porsche range at the Minnie Street facility. Customers can also look forward to exclusive events and surprises, including the potential launch of a new 911 derivative coming in March 2025. Parking at the new site is convenient, with onsite spaces and valet options available for customers to experience what Porsche Centre Gold Coast has to offer.

Destination Porsche: What’s Coming?

Planned for completion by March 2026, the Destination Porsche facility at 1 Harvest Court, will set a new benchmark for luxury retail spaces. Key features will include:

  • The Porsche Platz Café, offering a welcoming space for enthusiasts.
  • Modular displays highlighting e-mobility and Porsche Approved vehicles.
  • An upgraded showroom and service space, doubling current capacities.
  • Enhanced digital offerings, which will further elevate customer engagement.

Damien Holley shares his excitement: “This expansion is about more than just space—it’s about elevating the Porsche experience. We’ve listened to our customers and are delivering a facility that aligns with their needs and Porsche’s global identity.”

Damien Holley’s Journey

Damien’s journey with Porsche began in 2015, marking a decade of growth and transformation. Under his leadership, Porsche Centre Gold Coast has become a hub for innovation and customer excellence. Reflecting on milestones, Damien comments a memorable milestone was “the successful launch of the new Macan at HOTA, it really highlighted where Porsche is heading in the future”. Further mentioning that the all-new Porsche Macan is also available to see currently at Harvest Court and will be at our new temporary facility at 92 Minnie Street, Southport.

Join Us at Minnie Street

The temporary facility at 92 Minnie Street, Southport, opens in late February 2025. Whether you’re a Porsche owner or enthusiast, it’s the perfect place to explore the brand’s iconic range while anticipating the unveiling of the Destination Porsche showroom in 2026.
