Meet Chompoonuch Thongboonrawd of Kiwi Centre (Thailand), our featured ENZ Recognised Agent for August 2022

Introducing our featured ENZ Recognised Agent for August 2022: Chompoonuch Thongboonrawd, International Manager at Kiwi Centre (Thailand).

What does being an ENZ Recognised Agency mean to you?

Being an ENZ Recognised Agency means so much to our company. It accredits our agency as a professional organization that educates, consults students and evaluates the effectiveness of a institute in terms of how well it prepares students to meet educational requirements.

What is your favourite thing about being an ENZ Recognised Agency?

The favourite things about being an ENZ Recognised Agency are getting up-to-date education information and getting genuine and accurate information for guiding students. We can ensure parents and students that our company is well educated and engaged with education in New Zealand as Recognised agency. We could build more confidence in our clients to ensure the consultant. We can access the marketing tool?kit, which was excellent.

How much has your job changed in the last 18 months?

We had to grasp these hard time as a lesson immediately, by necessity, to continue serving customers and help our businesses move forward. We needed to work faster and more prolifically, and change messaging on the fly. Providing daily updates to customers about program changes and websites has always served to drive conversions. We also improved the Omni-channel strategy. The need to reach customers where they are and how they want to buy has become even more apparent.

How are you supporting students given current restrictions on travel?

We are supporting students by giving them up-to-date information about travel and also programs either available online or on site, and make sure that students can access them. Moreover, we discuss with the students regularly to make sure that they are well prepared for future study. In term of applying for a student visa, we continue to gather all the documents to be ready once the boarder opens. We give students support and advice to seek further information about what they’re looking for online. We ensure that students can access their enrolled program and choose the right subjects.

What are some new skills you’ve had to pick up along the way?

We have learned a lot from the COVID pandemic and while New Zealand closed its border. We started seeking channels to communicate with students and give them a feeling of consistency supported by us by using all different types of online meet. We could also be more efficient in our use of digital technology, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Line Official, and others.

How have you been taking care of your own wellbeing?

Although there are circumstances and events which we are powerless to change, we can change how we respond to them and how we take care of ourselves during difficult times.

We take an active, rather than passive approach. We manage a flexible office environment since we could work from home, use zoom meet or other channel to get connected with clients. Engage or blend into technology and social media.

Thanks, Chompoonuch!
