Meet Charmaine Meikuje Tjihero: A Champion for Justice and Fairness at WKH

WKH is delighted to introduce Charmaine Meikuje Tjihero, a distinguished legal expert whose dedication to justice and fairness enriches our firm. A proud alumna of the University of Namibia, Tjihero holds both a B JurisBJuris and an LLB (Honors). Her journey with WKH began on October 10, 2014, when she joined us as a Legal Practitioner Associate, and her exceptional talent and dedication swiftly propelled her to the role of Director in 2017.?

Charmaine’s passion for law was ignited early on, growing up in an environment where discussions about justice were commonplace. This inspired her to pursue a legal career with a particular focus on assisting those unable to afford legal representation.?

Specialising in Divorce Law, Family Law, Estate Administration, Commercial Law, Wills, and Trusts, Tjihero ensures her practice is up to date with the latest legal developments. She is also a strong advocate for alternative dispute resolution methods like arbitration and mediation. Charmaine’s commitment to pro bono work is exemplary; she organises monthly free legal advice days, provides free drafting of Last Wills and Testaments, and handles divorce cases at no charge.?

At the core of her practice are integrity, ethics, and a thorough, multifaceted approach. She meticulously stays informed about legal amendments and case law, conducting comprehensive research to secure the best outcomes for her clients.?

Charmaine’s dedication extends beyond her professional duties. She is an active member of the Namibian Women Lawyers Association (NWLA), which fosters the professional and personal growth of women in the legal field.
