I am Nestan Abramishvili a Project Manager at Management and Development Solutions Hub (MDSH) working on projects with international donors. i have 7 years of experience in Project Management in research, hospitality and service industries. i was leading cross-functional teams and working closely with international stakeholders. i am PMP certified and hold a Master’s Degree in Economics, studied at Tbilisi State University.

I want to express my enthusiastic interest in the position of Director of Membership and Volunteer Engagement within PMI Tbilisi, Georgia Chapter. I am eager to contribute my skills and passion to the continued success of our Chapter. Coming through the ranks as a volunteer I was given the chance to take responsibility and gain experience in managing projects based on PMI standards. I know how valuable and vital it is for a volunteer to feel appreciated and recognized for the work they serve selflessly. Over time, my dedication and enthusiasm for our Chapter's mission led me to embrace additional responsibilities and already as a member volunteer, I have been actively involved in welcoming and onboarding new team and Chapter members, providing guidance, support, and insights gleaned from my own experiences. I do believe that with my accumulated knowledge and experience, I will be able to respond to the mission and goals of the chapter and the needs of its members and volunteers. With a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach, I am eager to work closely with the Chapter leadership team, volunteers, and stakeholders to develop innovative programs, expand membership benefits, and strengthen our Chapter's presence within the project management community.

Vision for PMI Tbilisi Georgia Chapter Membership and Volunteer Engagement Activities 2024 - 2027

It is with genuine appreciation that I express my gratitude for the opportunity to be considered as a candidate for the role of Director of Membership and Volunteer Engagement.

When considering membership or volunteerism within our Chapter, the fundamental question that arises is "why?". Why should individuals aspire to become part of our organization, to remain engaged, or to encourage others to join? At the core of this inquiry lies the essential need to feel valued and cared for, to sense that your Chapter is actively considering your well-being and striving to create tangible benefits for you. To achieve it we need to “Be Welcoming”. During my tenure, I envision implementing projects that will increase the level of engagement of local and nonresident members and volunteers, grow up the amount of newly added and engaged parties by 5%. For better and bigger results Chapter needs to concentrate to “Aim Higher”.

As a director of Membership and Volunteer Engagement, I am committed to leveraging my experience and expertise to champion initiatives that prioritize member satisfaction, engagement, and retention. Goals without togetherness is vain. Joint and dedicated cooperation will serve as a primary tool to make our Chapter more global. All is achievable as “Together We Can”. I am excited about the prospect of contributing to the growth and success of our Chapter and, if given the opportunity, will work tirelessly to make our shared vision a reality.
