Meet Canberra Trainer Nick Olive
It's hard not to be impressed with this professional, progressive, Group 1 winning trainer.
Taking out the Canberra Trainers Premiership on seven of the past eleven years and has now exceeded over 600 individual winners. Nick also cemented his place in NSW Racing history by taking out the Country Trainers Premiership in 2009/10.
Nick has had success in Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 and Listed races.
The highlight being a very special horse to the stable in, "Single Gaze".
Nick and G1-winning jockey?Kathy O'Hara?rode a terrific wave with the bonny mare, helping her to surpass the $2 million milestone in stakes - which came even prior to her high-flying 2018 autumn which featured two G1 runner-up finishes.

The Single Gaze story largely pivots around a fateful campaign in autumn 2016 - in which she strung together wins in the G3 Keith Nolan Stakes before a momentous G1 success in the Vinery Stud Stakes. The following start, in the ATC Oaks, she was involved in a shocking fall, seriously injuring both horse and rider.
Yet, they both emerged again together 10 months later on the racetrack - and went on to combine for another two wins, plus another seven Group-level placings, including that run in the Caulfield Cup behind Boom Time.
Training Facilities
The Nick Olive Racing stables are located at Thoroughbred Park in Canberra. In recent years the training facilities at Canberra have seen major redevelopments, such as an all weather synthetic track, heated equine pool, covered automated horse walkers and round yard.
Nick's professional education and wide industry experience, coupled with his passion and dedication for training thoroughbreds is no doubt the key to Nick’s striking success rate.
Nick and the team will be at the Magic Millions next week to search for their next, "Single Gaze" so be sure to join their mailing list to see their new purchases before they are offered to the public.
