What do you love about working for Zions Bancorporation?

I love the employee collaboration. I know when I have a problem to solve or an efficiency to solution, there are plenty of people who are willing to assist. There are some real, genuine people who work for this organization. The caliber of employees is high and that makes this a desirable place to be. I have worked for companies that did not have the same camaraderie that Zions Bancorporation has, and it is truly something to be treasured.

What is something unique about you?

I am obsessed with reading. I came into it a little later in life but have consistently read 100+ books every year for the last few years. In 2023, I spent about 69,000 minutes reading (translates to 48 DAYS)!

What project are you currently most focused on?

I am focused on getting my teams ready for core banking transformation. We already supported the conversion of National Bank of Arizona to this new banking platform and next, we will focus on Amegy and Nevada State Bank. One of my teams is the Bank Operation Support Services Help Line, who is the main point of contact for the branches and departments during and after conversion. We are working on getting the team staffed up, trained, and ready to support our partners!

What is your proudest professional accomplishment?

Being part of the successful consolidation of Bank Operations and subsequent re-organization of my team, Affiliate Bank Operations Support. We consolidated six different help lines down to the BOSS Help Line. It was a lot of work to make sure we had the right leaders and team members in the right seats, make sure we had the technology we needed to be successful, and get through so many growing pains, but I could not be happier about how it has all turned out. BOSS touches so many people in our organization, so it is crucial that we are always on top of the game and putting our best work out there.

What is your proudest personal accomplishment?

Being a mother to four beautiful humans and watching them grow into amazing people!

What motivates and inspires you?

I am motivated and inspired by the people around me. I love hearing the growth and development stories of my peers and leaders. I love doing everything in my power to meet my goals and be the employee that can always be counted on.
