Is your company on-track to grow your social media by 4,000%? Are you anticipating triple revenue growth? Sit back, read, and meet my friend: Amanda. Humble, down to earth, practical, brilliant, and armed with business sense and marketing prowess that differentiates success from failure.

I could bottom line this and tell you that if you are a decision maker, serious about growing your business, expanding your social media influence, and growing your revenue, call Amanda. Winning big is a way of life for her and her clients. No frills. No BS. Honest, straightforward, wise, hard charging, get it done, is a micro synopsis of her approach.

Amanda Stuckey, a name synonymous with success in marketing circles, stands out. To those who know her, Amanda is not just a colleague, consultant or mentor, but a force of nature — an influential powerhouse whose strategic prowess has transformed numerous businesses.

Like an amuse-bouche, I simply wanted to whet the palate, a fun, teasing introduction—a taste of what awaits. I promise: you will want to connect with this dynamo that can take your company, your brand to unprecedented levels.

Where it began? During a pivotal moment in my career, when I was navigating the daunting landscape of the celebrity world as a rising Chef. I was invited to join the James Beard Celebrity Chef tour; I had invitations to perform for the Oscars, Grammys, Primetime Emmys, and private dining experiences around the world; my public image needed attention. Chef Works is where I purchased my uniforms. Everything about them resonates with me. In winter, I am warm, in summer, I am cool. Their customer service totally rocks. One day, while cruising through my Instagram, Chef Works was running a contest: get a picture of yourself in action wearing Chef Works apparel and gear. The prize? Being featured in their monthly magazine, and a free Chef’s coat. I was convinced I would win.

I didn’t win, and I wasn’t just a little unhappy. I fired off a letter to Chef Works expressing my disdain in less than pleasant terms, to which, their Global Director of Marketing, Ms. Amanda Stuckey, personally wrote back; not using the latest CSM cookie cutter “how to tame a raging Chef behaving like an exhausted toddler demanding his favorite juice,” but a sincere, heartfelt letter. In it, she explained that I was one of many thousands that had entered the contest. She apologized for my being upset, and hoped to continue building a great relationship with Chef Works. Ugh! My heart was pricked. I saw what a jerk I had been, and immediately sat down to pen an apology letter for my behavior. Unbelievably, Amanda responded with phenomenal grace, understanding, and in the process, looked at the work I had accomplished. She complimented me, wished me continued great success, and that chapter of Chef Works and Bryan-David Scott ended. So I thought.

The inevitable happened: I was receiving invitations to perform around the country. I would be on tour, starting with an invitation to perform in Chicago, filming with the White House Chef (Guy Mitchell) on the Food Channel. Simultaneously, I was invited by then KitchenAid Commercial Global Director of Marketing, Jeff McClure, to meet at the NRA Show where they were showcasing their newest and greatest appliances. I was hunting for big name sponsors. Jeff invited me to meet with him to discuss a possible collaboration. I was in awe with the innovative technology, American made appliances, and all that I learned about KitchenAid Commercial. I knew I could represent them in ways no other Chef could. The meeting was successful.

With two major wins behind me, and a stellar, bright future in front of me, I set my sites on Chef Works as my next sponsor. Amanda, with her keen eye for talent and her unwavering belief in potential, took a chance on me. In less than a month, I had become a Celebrity Chef ambassador for KitchenAidCommercial, Chef Works, and filmed with the White House Chef on The Food Channel.

I began rocking promotions for both brands. Amanda was quick to let me know what she loved or didn’t like; what she knew would be successful, and would not. Her guidance was instrumental in shaping my trajectory as a celebrity personality, instilling in me a passion for marketing creativity and strategic thinking that continues to drive my approach to promotion and marketing today.

What sets Amanda apart is her ability to decipher the intricacies of marketing and transform them into tangible success stories. Her track record speaks for itself: clients who heed her advice invariably thrive. Time and again, businesses under Amanda's guidance have seen exponential growth, and their brand elevated to new heights in the competitive marketplace.

A CASE STUDY

People can refute what you say, but they can't stand against facts substantiated with evidence. This is one example of why Amanda is recognized globally for her marketing prowess:

Chef Works tripled their revenue and grew their audience by 4,000%

For those that may not know, Chef Works is the global leader in the culinary apparel industry. Worn by some of the world’s most renowned chefs, including Jet Tila, Carla Hall, Dominique Crenn, Bryan-David Scott, Salvatore Moretti, Justin Bentley Reed, and by global enterprise clientele. Chef Works garments have become more than a uniform — they’re also a rite of passage.

When Amanda joined the team in 2012, Chef Works was already a multi-million dollar company. However, they needed a smart, innovative plan for continued growth, brand transformation and diversification. With the world evolving and the industry shifting rapidly, the company’s leadership knew they needed a strategic foundation in order to propel their business into future sustainability and profitability.

As the business evolved, Amanda's leadership roles at Chef Works expanded significantly. Over the course of her tenure, she transitioned through three progressive positions: initially as the Chef Works Client Services and Program Manager, then as Manager of this division; followed by her role as Director of Marketing; and ultimately, she assumed the position of Vice President of Marketing.

Results

  • Drove social audience growth from 12k to 550k

  • Secured multi-year, multi-million strategic partner contracts

  • Lifted Revenue 3x

"Many businesses either don’t have a strategy, don’t have a long-term strategy, or don’t know how to appropriately implement their strategy," says Amanda with her signature friendly smile, and matter of fact tone. "FLASHBACK STORY: In 2015, I was spearheading the design and development of the Chef Works catalog, and decided to put a male Chef who had fully-tattooed sleeves on the front cover. Prior culinary aesthetics were called “blacks and whites,” which meant a white jacket, black pants, and a white hat. No visible piercings, no jewelry, no tattoos - this was how a professional Chef was portrayed in prior years. The actual culinary industry is a haven for non-traditional iconoclasts, passionate influencers, and true innovators."

The result? The year that catalog went to print was the year Chef Works grew exponentially in revenue. To this day, the brand collection Amanda and her team designed, developed and launched in 2015, the Urban Collection?, is the largest revenue producing sub-brand amongst all Chef Works product categories.

By the way, the catalog was just one piece of the marketing puzzle. The company’s social media strategy was the next hurdle, which included influencer marketing, brand collaborations and I hired and managed a compact social media team who actively participated in all things social. Chef Works social media following grew from 12k to 550k — a growth rate of over 4,000%.

I believe to ignore Amanda’s counsel is, quite frankly, to court missed opportunities. Those who have chosen to disregard her insights have often found themselves ruefully retracing their steps, realizing too late the wisdom in her recommendations. Amanda possesses a rare blend of intuition and data-driven acumen, a combination that allows her to foresee trends and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

However, it's not just her professional acumen that defines Amanda Stuckey. Behind the powerhouse strategist lies a compassionate friend and advocate. Her genuine interest in the success and well-being of those around her is a testament to her character. Amanda nurtures a sense of camaraderie and collaboration wherever she goes, cultivating a network of loyal supporters and mentees who benefit from her wisdom.

As I reflect on Amanda's impact on my journey as an entertainer/performer and the countless others she has influenced, I am struck by the realization that her legacy extends far beyond the boardrooms and marketing campaigns. Amanda Stuckey embodies the ethos of authentic leadership and excellence, a hope for anyone or brand striving to make their mark in the world. God knows her influence has helped propel my success.

Stay tuned for the next of this three-part series, where we delve deeper into Amanda's trailblazing strategies, explore the secrets behind her marketing genius, and the success of her new company ETH3NA CREATIVE.
