Meet Agritecture at Indoor Ag Con 2024 & My Guide to This Year's Event

I am filled with both excitement and a tinge of regret as I write about the upcoming Indoor Ag-Con , scheduled for March 11-12, 2024 (NEXT WEEK), at the grand Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, NV. As an advisor for this top industry event, it's been a journey filled with collaboration the shared passion of pushing the boundaries of what's possible in controlled environment agriculture (CEA).

This year, the lineup is more impressive than ever, with a program meticulously curated to showcase the cutting-edge of agricultural technology, thought leadership in sustainability, and the bright future of farming. Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, I won't be able to attend in person. However, my absence doesn't diminish my excitement for what's in store, nor my eagerness to encourage everyone who can to experience what promises to be an enlightening couple of days.

Meet Djavid, Agritecture's Director of Consulting

In my stead, Agritecture will be represented by none other than Djavid Amidi-Abraham , our Director of Consulting. Djavid's vast expertise in CEA and his visionary approach to agricultural consulting have been instrumental in driving our mission forward. His insights into sustainable farming practices and innovative agricultural solutions are invaluable, making him the perfect guide for anyone looking to explore the potential of indoor agriculture. Djavid is an expert in planning CEA facilities and also in Due Diligence for investors considering them. I highly encourage attendees to seek him out, engage in discussions, and discover how Agritecture can help navigate the future of farming.

Must See Exhibitors

This year's event is teeming with companies leading the charge in agricultural innovation. Among them, there are a few close to my heart that I believe are pioneering changes not just for today, but for the sustainable future of farming. Make sure you find the time to visit these booths at the event!

Re-Nuble - Booth 1318

Re-Nuble

Re-Nuble stands out for its revolutionary approach to agricultural inputs. By transforming organic waste into nutrient-rich inputs for hydroponic and soil-based farms, they're not just promoting sustainable agriculture; they're redefining it. Their commitment to closing the loop in food production is something I admire deeply, and I recommend that attendees take the time to learn more about their impactful work. Ask them about their new substrate product!

Montel - Booth 306

Montel Greenrak

When it comes to maximizing space with ingenuity, Montel's vertical farming solutions set a high standard. Their storage and shelving systems are designed to optimize every inch of your growing area, ensuring efficiency and productivity. Their expertise can help you overcome one of the primary challenges in urban agriculture: space. They are currently celebrating 100 years of racking solutions! Montel's innovations are a testament to the creative problem-solving that defines our industry - they know how to maximize space in your grow operations.

Ceres Greenhouses - Booth 522

Ceres Greenhouses

Ceres Greenhouses is reshaping how we think about greenhouse production. Their energy-efficient, climate-controlled greenhouses are designed to support sustainable growing practices year-round, regardless of the external climate. By focusing on creating resilient structures that minimize energy use and maximize plant health, Ceres is at the forefront of developing greenhouses that don't just respond to the environment but work in harmony with it. We are proud to count them as one of our partners!

Sollum Technologies - Booth 1206

Sollum - Solar Impulse Efficient Solution

The magic of sunlight, captured and recreated for indoor farming, is what Sollum Technologies offers. Their smart LED lighting solution mimics natural sunlight, providing plants with the exact light spectra needed at different growth stages. This innovation not only improves crop yields and quality but does so in a way that's energy-efficient and adaptable to any growing environment. Sollum represents the bright future of indoor farming, where technology and nature converge for the best outcomes.
