We had the pleasure of speaking with Sisy Xu, the recipient of the Medix Biochemica “We Care” Award, to learn more about her career journey and her thoughts on receiving this meaningful recognition.?

When asked about her background, Sisy shared that she’s been with Medix Biochemica China as the HR Manager for two years, having joined in August 2022. Her career started as a Sales Assistant before she found her true calling in Human Resources, a field she’s now been working in for over 15 years. Her HR experience spans several industries, giving her a broad perspective and deep expertise. Reflecting on her path to Medix Biochemica, Sisy described it as a happy coincidence that led to what she now considers the beginning of an incredible journey.?

We also asked how it felt to be recognized for embodying the We Care value, a core aspect of Medix Biochemica’s culture. Sisy explained that, as an HR professional, she’s often been the one giving out rewards and recognition, but this time was different. This was the first award she has received that came directly from employee nominations, and it deeply moved her. She was thrilled and pleasantly surprised, feeling acknowledged for her contributions, even for tasks she considers part of her everyday role. For Sisy, this experience reinforced the meaning of the "We Care" culture—a cycle of mutual care and recognition between individuals, the company, and the broader world.?

When discussing how Medix Biochemica’s values manifest in day-to-day work, Sisy expressed pride in how these values are woven into the fabric of the company. She shared an old Chinese saying: "Don't miss doing any good thing, no matter how insignificant it seems." Sisy believes this perfectly captures the spirit of Medix Biochemica, where even small actions make a big impact. She emphasized that the company is on a fast track of development and that each person has the opportunity to find their own direction and contribute meaningfully.?

She closed with an encouraging message to her colleagues across the globe: "Let’s work together, be brave, and persevere!" and concluded with a heartfelt "Thank you!"?
