Behind a song, What?
We know the experience of listening to soulful music. The feeling it creates. Maybe we call it Peace. Maybe we call it Bliss.
But what is the alchemy of Music? What does it take the singer, dancer, musician to create that experience for us.
Indian tradition of Classical music and dance has explored this melodic alchemy over centuries. It has many dimensions to it. Including the oft cited 'riyaaz', practise, essential for the form, the body of the art.
But what about the 'rooh', the soul of the art. That subtle energy which translates to peace, bliss?
