Meditation heals all five bodies !

We are five bodies - physical body, mind, intellect, energy body (individual consciousness) and “all that is” (universal consciousness). Breath-Mindfulness Meditation practice is helping us to understand, experience and realize all of them fully. We become perfectly healthy when we meditate.
The physical body is comprised of five elements Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether(space), just the way the whole universe is made up of these five elements. In meditation, we experience physical body sensations and slowly transcend them. We go beyond all these initial body sensations of heaviness, lightness, pain, swinging, swaying etc.
Then we get in touch with the Mind and Intellect. This is mind stuff or “Chitta”. It has four components, defined by Indian sage Patanjali as “Mano Buddhi Chittha Ahankara”.
- Memories (various thoughts & feelings .. and also called Chittha)
- Mind (that identifies itself with various memories and also called Manas)
- Ego (the dual nature of the mind that separates and creates forms; also called Ahankara)
- Intellect (the rightful discriminator .. the non-dual nature of the mind that unites, and also called Buddhi)
The mind is identifying itself with various memories and creates separation among all things when fed by Ego. Ego is the dual-nature of the mind. Ego helps to experience matter. Intellect is making decision by discerning right and wrong. It is the non-dual nature of the mind, and helps to unite all things. Ego says everything is separate .. you and me are separate and not one, where as Intellect is bringing awareness about oneness nature of all things.
In meditation, we transcend through all Mind stuff. We go past the memories (various thoughts and feelings), and then we drop Mind that identifies itself with all material things due to Ego. Then we drop Intellect that is always discerning right and wrong, and we become equanimous to all experiences. We go past these too slowly, and finally we experience Emptiness.
In quantum physics model, Emptiness or Quantum Energy Field is one large infinite Field that combines both individual and universal consciousness. Individual consciousness is what we experience when we withdraw our attention off our body and life. Universal consciousness is what we experience, when we withdraw attention of everything else.
When we meditate we take care of all the bodies. When we experience the greater Emptiness, we feel Blissful, and start receiving lot of higher information/wisdom. Our Intellect is sharpened. We gain the ability to learn more and expand our Intellect. We read and isten more to the higher wisdom nd stimulate that Intellect.
A well developed Intellect slowly rectifies the Mind. This allows Mind to shift towards infinite form of enjoyment. Over a period of time we identify that art, music, and dance are real enjoyments. For e.g., we will never get bored of watching the same piece of painting or listening to the same tune. We gain peace of Mind with this higher form of enjoyment.
When the Mind is at peace, our physical body automatically starts getting better and gains vitality. We develop right food habits, drop food cravings and drop anything that causes violence and make our body very healthy.
