"Meditation enables whole brain thinking and improves memory powers for excellence and peak performance "

Meditation is improving many brain regions. It is synchronizing the left brain and right brain. It is expanding the long-term memory area. It is thickening the cerebral cortex or the outer brain that is responsible for many higher cognitive functions.

The ability to use both of our brain hemispheres together enables increased focus, deeper thought, more creativity, optimized mental health, better memory, and clearer thinking within us. This "full brain access" has the potential to transform our life in many ways, which together results in greater success for each one of us. The whole brain access is made possible by strengthening a brain area called "Corpus Callosum”, that connects the brain hemispheres. For regular meditators, their "corpus callosum" is remarkably stronger, thicker, and well connected.

Meditation practitioners naturally increase the neural mass (gray matter) of the brain regions associated with long & short term memory, focused attention, deep thought, and overall brain power while simultaneously quieting the electrical activity within the regions associated with anxiety, depression, fear, and anger.

Meditation helps improve our memory powers significantly. Our mind has 7 memory powers namely: Storing Power, Access Power, Concentration Power, Reading Power, Learning Power, Creative Power & Thought Power. Meditation improves all these powers more naturally and significantly !

Storing & Access power are what we normally call memory power. Storing and access powers are interrelated such that storing perfectly enables to access it faster. For meditators these powers are increasing significantly.

Research shows that regular meditation causes the brain's cerebral cortex to thicken. This cortex is responsible for higher mental functions such as concentration, learning and reading. Thicker cortex improves concentration and learning powers, thereby increasing our efficiency at work place.

Frequently used neural pathways in the brain help us to do well while solving familiar problems and performing routine activities such as preparing regular status reports. However, handling new situations requires the brain to have fresh neural pathways, extra nerve cells, and strengthened connectivity. Examples of new situations include solving unexpected problems, creating new designs and having unplanned customer conversations. Meditation develops new neural pathways and connections and boosts the creative power. That’s why regular meditators are more successful and have greater fulfillment at work place and in their life, as they tend to perform much better in unplanned, unexpected and unknown situations.

“Yogahakarmasukausalam” When we become a yogi (a meditator), we are able to perform our duties with excellence. Our actions become very efficient, righteous, balanced, and more.
