Meditate for Peace 6.20.24

Yesterday, my "meditation" for peace was to paint the peace symbol you see here. I spent the better part of an hour focused on nothing but that.
There's no one way to meditate. Some people merely observe their breathing; others try to control their breathing. I have friends who love to use a mantra, but personally I struggle with such a device.
My message this week is incredibly simple: set the intention to cultivate peace in yourself and the world, and then use whatever method feels right (today) to hug that intention close to you.

5 个月I started meditating in 1998 (when I really needed it) and haven't missed many days since. About 16 years ago a very close friend of mine was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He said he always wanted to get a tattoo. He then told me, I needed to get one too. It's what you see on my right leg. Good newsletter, Bruce.
