Position Summary Employees at this level engage in overseeing certain administrative functions of the residency program which are characterized by decision making and responsibility under the supervision of the Program Directors. Such duties include management/oversight of compliance with ACGME regulations. Job duties are also characterized by high impact activities that can affect more than one department and for which errors can have serious consequences. Duties & Responsibilities ? Administration/Operation: Manage, support, oversee, collaborate, resource, compliance (within limits of authority) Manages day to day operations and decision making (support of Program Director and program) Serves as a trusted resource, support and collaboration for faculty, residents, staff, department, community partners and outside agencies Represents the Program Director to outside agencies Provides programmatic problem solving – assist in developing initiatives to address weaknesses, scheduling conflicts, documentation Ensure adequate faculty and resident staffing of clinics and inpatient services Suggests and implements improvements and development (program, faculty and residents) Works to ensure accreditation compliance with all entities (program, faculty and residents) Obtains and maintains required information and documentation (GMEC, ACGME, Sub-specialty boards, IRIS, scholarly activity, alumni, resident files/portfolios) Manages Resident Management System – manage resident education data per program requirements and run reports on data(E*Value or New Innovations) Supports Team Building – within program with residents and faculty - activities Tracks Program expenses – track expenses (funds provided by GME, hospital or department sections, expenses are approved by one of these areas and submitted for payment) Maintains Required memberships for Program, Program Director and residents-Ensures Policy compliance and maintenance of program specific curriculum, didactic and handbooks, etc Schedules (calendars, Amion or other rotation system, master schedule, etc) Provides Committee Support (participates, schedules, records minutes and distribution of materials) Data development, collection and tracking Supervise support staff as applicable Manages Rotations and Master Schedule (AMION or other rotation systems, visiting students/residents) ? Resident Support: Administer, resource, mentor, collaborate, consult, oversee, produce (within limits of authority) Obtains and maintains Resident required documentation (contracts, license, visa, ECFMG, credentialing, resident files/portfolios, duty hours, procedures, leave submission, etc) Utilizes Resident Management System (E*Value or New Innovations training and use of) Coordinates Onboarding, Orientation and termination Ensures Mandatory compliance and training (rotations, institutional and programmatic policy, duty hours, surveys, leave requests, rotations, health, testing, medical records, etc) Alerts the Program Director of sensitive resident issues that may inhibit performance Exam preparation, compliance and proctor (USMLE or COMLEX, In-training, and any subspecialty required exams) Assists and advises Chief Residents with responsibilities – mentoring and non-clinical training as needed Tracks Resident Education Allowance and Travel expenses ? Recruitment: Manage, oversee, collaborate, resource, compliance (within limits of authority) Develop, coordinate, Process and schedules (materials, communications, logistics, marketing, websites, submission of expenses) Filter, review, and validates candidate criteria and requirements Schedule potential candidates from outside our institution with interest in our program Interview candidates Support Rank meeting and selection of candidates Utilizes various Systems (ERAS, NRMP, FREIDA, GME TRACK) Evaluation and Curriculum: Manage, support, oversee, collaborate, resource, compliance (within limits of autho
