Aisling Moloney departs the Irish Daily Mail for adventures Down Under
Political correspondent Aisling Moloney has left her role with the Irish Daily Mail after just over a year.
The former RTE researcher plans on taking her "next adventure" in Australia.
Irish Daily Mail Editor Eddie Coffey praised her role with the paper over the last 14 months: “Aisling was a brilliant political correspondent during her time with the Mail and had a range of exclusive stories, particularly around the RTE controversy.
“We are sorry to see her leave but wish her all the best on her travels and her future.”
Donelly takes on editor's role at Bellingcat
Former Sunday Times Ireland reporter Beau Donelly has left the paper in order to take up a new job with Bellingcat .
Donelly, who spent over three years with the publication as a Senior Reporter, has taken on the role of Editor with the independent investigative platform.
His previous jobs included stints with Storyful in Ireland, along with a number of publishers in his native Australia.
Donelly is also the co-author of The Woman Who Fooled The World

Creatives, planners, and strategists from 10 Irish agencies have united to tackle the brief of a lifetime for Good Life 2030 Ireland, with "The Future" as their client.
The task is to develop a campaign in response to recent research conducted for Good Life 2030, which explores the true meaning of living a "good life."
At an event organized by Purpose Disruptors and THINKHOUSE , representatives from Havas , Publicis Dublin , Core , Verve /showrunner, 腾迈 /Bolt, Droga5 Dublin , Folk VML , Bonfire , THINKHOUSE , and The Public House gathered to discuss the marketing, media, and advertising industry's role in fostering a sustainable future where we all live and work more sustainably.
The national campaign will go live in November 2024 and will encourage Irish citizens to start living their ‘future good life’ now, using the power and imagination of Ireland’s adland.

The collaboration is also supported by GroupM Ireland , with additional agency partners expected to join in the coming weeks
Banking on a packed crowd as BOI sponsor Off The Ball
Off The Ball (OTB), the media brand that began life as a radio program on Newstalk , have announced Bank of Ireland as their new sponsor.
The deal will see the bank become the principal partner for OTB’s rugby coverage including the Monday and Wednesday Night Rugby and Brian O’Driscoll on Off The Ball.
The sponsorship, which was brokered by Media Central and OMD, covers output across FM as well as social and digital platforms.
Ger Gilroy , managing director of OTB, said the brand is "thrilled to be partnering with Bank of Ireland across our rugby coverage on Off The Ball."
The deal comes just weeks after presenter Joe Molloy announced his departure from OTB, signing up to do a new podcast with the Irish Independent.
Emily in Paris gets the Google Lens shopping treatment on Netflix
Netflix and 谷歌 have teamed up to introduce a shoppable experience for the latest season of the popular series “Emily in Paris,” leveraging Google’s Shop with Google feature, according to Marketing Dive.
This collaboration highlights the fashion featured in the series, allowing viewers to use Google Lens technology on their mobile devices to scan outfits on screen and discover similar items for purchase. The partnership was launched with a pop-up event in Los Angeles.
The initiative also includes custom features within Netflix’s ad-supported plan, such as shoppable pause ads, title sponsorships, and 15-second commercials that connect “Emily in Paris” with Shop with Google. This campaign comes as Netflix’s ad-supported tier experiences significant growth
