Wise Words Media officially launches a new creative industries podcast - A Fistful of Scripts v2.audio - with the world premiere of 'Harvest', starring John Flaus as 'Old Man Harvest'. The podcast episodes will debut on podcast platform ACast 6:45am, Monday 28th October 2024.
Announcing the launch, writer / producer / director Sean McIntyre announces his strong, successful brand - ‘A FISTFUL OF SCRIPTS' – is today evolving into a production & distribution vehicle of audio content.

A FISTFUL OF SCRIPTS v2.audio - a new creative industries PODCAST - is produced by Wise Words Media.
It is a natural extension and evolution of Sean McIntyre's innovative script development incubator A FISTFUL OF SCRIPTS, which ran from August 201 to Aug 2012 at Theatre Works, St Kilda Melbourne Australia.
A FISTFUL OF SCRIPTS and A FISTFUL OF SCRIPTS v2.audio brings to life the vision of creatives such as writers, directors and producers as well as clients. In addition to its role as a proven script development incubator for theatre and film, in July 2016, A Fistful of Scripts began to evolve into a production and distribution vehicle of audio content.
John Flaus first appeared as 'Old Man Harvest' at Theatre Works, St Kilda, Melbourne Australia in July 2012 at A Fistful of Scripts.
A luminary and legend of Australia's screen industry and an expert on its screen culture, John Flaus turned 90 in April 2024.
"I first met John Flaus in 2002 on the set of a short film. Like many who have worked with John, I benfited from his extremely kind nature, curiousity and his generousity", says Sean McIntyre
Sean McIntyre says John Flaus leapt at the chance to reunite in September 2016 to record the script of 'Harvest', repeating how much he loved the character. A cast interview as also recorded and will feature in a separate podcast episode.
Wise Words Media worked exclusively with Creative Content Studio, REALM, Ringwood located at the Bizhub facility on Whitehprse Road, Maroondah Highway.
"During post-production in late September 2024, I realised that John Flaus and I recorded this project together exactly 8 years to the day prior to my own father's pasing in September this year", says writer / producer Sean McIntyre.
The world premiere of 'Harvest' - and this new creative industries podcast A Fistful of Scripts v2.audio - is dedicated to the late John McIntyre, who celebrated his 90th birthday in August 2024.
"During mid-2016, Wise Words Media embarked upon an ambitious three month audio project,” says Sean McIntyre.
“Recordings of audio content for ‘A FISTFUL OF SCRIPTS' commenced late August 2016 and ran through to mid-October 2016”. All original cast agreed to return for this exciting initiative", says Sean McIntyre, "not only for 'Harvest', but also 'KIDS (or Games Before Hometime)."
Altogether, five projects of cast recordings and cast interviews overall were recorded, complete with 'behind-the-scenes' production stills for KIDS,?HARVEST,??REUNION.RED.CIRCLE.THREE,?ADDICT,?HOW TO KILL YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTER.
One script per month will be released, with a 4 to 6 week gap between each season. Sean McIntyre says this release strategy is designed to let each script 'breathe' and allow the audience to find, absorb and enjoy the experience of each script, its cast recording and cast interview.

"Wise Words Media has ambitious plans to record many more scripts", says writer / producer Sean McIntyre.
"I also commissioned a video recording of each cast recordings and every cast interview", says Sean McIntyre, "unfortunately I fear the video recordings have been lost for good."
Sean McIntyre explains that when he saw the raw footage in October 2016 he felt the video footage "wasn't up to scratch".
"At the time, podcast content video's weren't really 'a thing'. As consumer behaviour around consuption of video content changed - or rather began to accelerate so rapidly during CoVid lockdowns - I realsed to my extreme dismay that I did not have the video footage in my hard drives", says Sean McIntyre.
McIntyre tried derparately to obtain the footage from REALM's tech crew, but this proved impossible during CoVid lockdowns in mid - 2021.
