We were shortlisted for the ‘Best Use of Data to Assist Reputation Management’ category at the DataComms awards organised by Communicate magazine ! The results will be revealed at the DataComms Awards celebration on June 4 in London so stay tuned!

On 17 April, in London, we were honoured to be presented with the In2 SABRE award in the Data & Analytics: Social Listening category. Our Marketing Manager Anna Tsenova , who received the award at the PRovoke Media EMEA Summit, shared her thoughts on the insightful discussions at the event.

1 April

X users shared the news that Yolo Investments made a USD 8 million investment in The Open Network (TON), supporting both Toncoin and the broader TON ecosystem. According to the posts and news stories, this investment demonstrates confidence in blockchain and fintech innovation.?

10 April

Informa PLC announced that the fintech conference Finovate Spring 2024 will take place from May 21-23 at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. The event will host over 100 speakers, 50 live product demos, and sessions exploring technological advancements, business model innovations, and opportunities in financial services and payments.

16 April

Money20/20 , the world’s leading fintech show, unveiled its agenda for its upcoming Europe show in Amsterdam, 4-6 June. The show will feature 350+ speakers, including leaders from global banks like as Deutsche Bank and ING, fintech players such as Adyen and Revolut , senior representatives from the European Central Bank and the European Commission, and blockchain solution providers such as Ripple. The focus will be on the "Human X Machine" theme to explore the partnership between artificial and human intelligence in finance.?

18 April

The Open Finance African Group has launched in Central and West Africa, aiming to revolutionise the financial landscape by promoting financial inclusion and expanding access to services, together with Axway, BGFI Bank, GIM UEMOA, HPS, InTouch, Sopra Banking Software, and Deloitte. This initiative will fully explore the potential of numerous banks, fintechs and financial institutions eager to provide their services everywhere, to everyone.

20 April

Nium , a payments services company that provides real-time, cross-border payments, and Kapronasia , a payments, banking, and capital markets research firm, launched "Breaking Borders: The Revolution of Real-Time Cross-Border B2B Payments in Asia" - a new data-backed white paper that addresses cross-border B2B payment challenges, current initiatives, and the important role of intermediaries.

25 April

On X , users engaged with a post stating that the Central Bank of Nigeria has granted Unified Payments, the country's leading fintech company, the second Payment Terminal Service Aggregator (PTSA) licence, enforcing regulations requiring all point-of-sale transactions to go through licensed aggregators. According to the post's author, this move is part of the CBN's efforts to combat financial crimes and track electronic transactions to address security concerns, expanding transaction gateway options beyond Nigeria Interbank Settlement System PLC (NIBBS).
