Media City our Home

As we continue to shout about how proud we are in being nominated for an RTS award for best digital creativity, it would be a good idea to tip our hat to the digital centre that is helping us. Not only does the GMCA digital blueprint feature strongly in what we do our home has a significant influence on our success.

When we were looking at moving the consultancy base it was obvious, we needed to be able to locate ourselves at the centre of the northern digital media campus that as a dockland was a symbol of growth and prosperity. This is as relevant now as it was back in the early 1900s as this media hub continues to develop and grow.

The team at MediaCityUK are amazing and are as passionate about the SME as they are the powerhouses here. There is an eagerness to create an ecosystem that feeds growth and develops talent, two things that are at the top of the Badger & Combes agenda.

Our commitment to the Badger Talent Pathway and developing amazing digital talent feeds this Media City ecosystem and we wouldn’t want to change it for the world.

In the 1960s there were approx. 5000 people employed and working on the docks, today that number has increased significantly. We love our role here and are just as excited about the next ten years as we were about the first ten.
