'MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries' Release Date Confirmed For December 2018

During MechCon 2017, Piranha Games' Russ Bullock announced that "MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries" will hit the store shelves in December of 2018. It will be the first standalone MechWarrior game to arrive in over 15 years.

Apart from officially announcing MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries' release window, Piranha unveiled a hands-on preview during the recently-concluded event that took place in Vancouver, Canada on December 9. Bullock told PC Gamer's Steven Messner when he visited the studio in the summer that this would be identical to action simulator that people have been waiting to get their hands on for 15 years.
