With over 14 years of experience, Prashant Parmar stands as a pillar of excellence in mechatronics. However, beyond his technical expertise, Prashant is, first and foremost, a nurturer—someone who is dedicated to transforming lives through the power of real-world learning.

From Classroom Theories to Industrial Realities: Prashant's Journey

From the tender age of 14, Prashant first discovered his love for mechatronics, and it was love at first sight. He knew he had found his calling in life, and this early passion propelled him to pursue extensive education in the field, culminating in a Diploma, B.E., and M.Tech. in mechatronics.?

After his M.Tech., Prashant started his journey as a lecturer, helping learners understand the various complex concepts in this field. His early teaching roles at various esteemed institutions, such as G. H. Patel College of Engineering & Technology and K. J. Institute of Engineering & Technology, laid the foundation for his future endeavours.?Today, he boasts over 14 years of teaching experience, including course development, laboratory establishment, and a stint as the Controller of Examination from 2021 to 2024. He also secured a grant of ?87 lakhs from the Center for Entrepreneurship Development (a body of the Government of Gandhinagar) to set up a skill development center while working at TeamLease Skills University. Additionally, he monitored and executed a CSR project that successfully trained and placed 240 girls with Yokohama India Tyres Limited, focusing on off-road tyre manufacturing.

Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry

Before joining NAMTECH, Prashant's journey took him through various esteemed institutions, where he made significant contributions to curriculum development, laboratory establishment, and industry-academia collaborations.

During his tenure as the Head of the Mechatronics Department at TeamLease Skills University, which is the first skills university of India that offered 3 years B. Sc. Mechatronics program; Prashant was instrumental in developing industry-relevant curricula, establishing state-of-the-art laboratories, and fostering industry-academia solid relationships. His international experiences, including faculty exchange programs under the Erasmus+ and UK India Education and Research Initiative projects, further broadened his perspective and equipped him with a global outlook on education and skill development.

These experiences and his passion for empowering learners eventually led him to NAMTECH, where he continues to innovate and inspire.
