Mechanical Engineer Required - Heavy Industry - Antwerp

We are currently looking for a Mechanical (Project) Engineer to work on an industrial plant near to Antwerp, Belgium.?The client has an immediate need for mechanical engineer to join them to assist with projects, maintenance and general expertise relating to on-site mechanical equipment. ???

The role will suit a Mechanical Engineer with experience in any process plant industry (chemical ?/ refinery / petrochem) who has the ability to provide technical advice and projects involving mechanical equipment.

Mechanical (Project) Engineer Specification:?

START: ASAP – Immediate (Interviews next week)

LOCATION: Rotterdam, Netherlands

DURATION: Freelance – Duration 6-12 months.

Essential Skills:

Mechanical Engineering experience (3-5+ years, high school qualification or above).

Experience overseeing CAPEX projects – from specification to procurement, engineering and delivery.

Mechanical equipment specialism or knowledge (specifically heat exchangers, pressure vessels, distillation towers).

Must be Dutch speaking.

Industrial sector experience (working on a live plant).

Ability to provide technical advice on equipment / vendor selection. ?

Knowledge of ASME / API standards.
