MEC Mamabolo leads Back-to-School oversight visits at West Rand

Today, the MEC for Infrastructure Development and Cooperative Governance, Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), Jacob Mamabolo continued with the Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) School Readiness Programme at the West Rand Local Municipality. The visited schools include Mosupatsela Secondary School followed by Atlholang and Lengau Primary School as well as Kagiso Early Childhood Development Centre (ECDE).

The oversight visits aim to ensure that the schools are ready for effective teaching and learning from day one, focusing on safety, discipline and resource availability. MEC Mamabolo conducted walkabouts at the learning facilities and took the opportunity to applaud the school management team, support staff and stakeholders for their preparedness to start the 2025 academic year.
