America’s First Carbon Positive Hotel: Denver’s ‘Populus’ slated to open in 2023 will be the first carbon-positive hotel in the US. The eco-conscious design features 265-rooms, a rooftop restaurant and bar with stunning views of the mountains and city skyline, along with retail and event spaces. It also includes a commitment to plant trees equivalent to over 5,000 acres of forest, offsetting a carbon footprint that equals 500,000 gallons of gas and removing additional carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Once scanned with a smartphone, the tag activates a series of digital actions to save time and remove the hassle of reselling clothes online. The tag is connected to Meta’s marketplace on Facebook and Instagram and automatically mocks up an ad based on datapoints from the piece of clothing, such as its style, size, color and age. It also auto generates images and copy describing the clothes.
