Meat industry and alternatives expected to rise

Researchers suggest that the global meat consumption will rise significantly in the following years. This is due to the change in lifestyles that people are adopting, people are becoming more aware of what they eat and the quality of food they ingest.

Over the last few years, people have opted for eating more processed foods, and because we are everyday becoming more globalized people are starting to try different gastronomy around the world.

Many changes are interfering in the preferences that people currently have in regards to food, however, due to the advances in freezing technology people have been able to see the quality that food keeps.

People are more inclined towards consuming fresh and good meat, therefore, the demand keeps increasing but people tend to have more sophisticated preferences, often tasting the quality of the food that they ingest.

On the other hand, there are few concerns about the consumption of meat, one of the most important is the contamination it brings and also the concern that vegans have that suggest that animals should not be treated this way.

Moreover, more alternatives are coming into the market such as meat that are being grown in different laboratories that taste and feel just like if you were eating a normal piece of steak.

In addition, freezing technology lets the quality of meat be the same as if it was completely fresh and this applies to meat replicas and real meat.
