Social selling is the process of developing relationships (through the use of social media channels) as part of the sales process. According to linkedin, social sellers create 45% more opportunities than those with lower LinkedIn SSI and are about 51% more likely to hit their social sales share. Additionally, 78% quickly outperform their social selling peers on LinkedIn. The higher the score, the easier it is to show leadership that target candidates got engaged.

1.Establish your professional brand

The best way of establishing your professional brand is by optimizing and completing your profile. The content of your profile can say a lot about yourself. A complete profile shows you are committed and a good headshot conveys your professionalism.??

2. Find the right people

Even though there are many methods to reach out and connect with your ideal clients, Candidates and prospects, don’t invite everyone. This is all about using LinkedIn’s native search function, Sales Navigator, Linkedin Recruiter and InMail effectively to reach candidates, decision makers, and new employees.?

“Discover and share conversation-worthy updates to create and grow relationships”

To improve in this category, comment on and share others’ posts. Just saying “thanks” or “great post” won’t cut it – the SSI score looks at the length and quality of comments and reshare text, too. That’s why you see a lot of people giving in-depth comments on LinkedIn these days!?

4. Build relationships

Relationships are at the core of LinkedIn. Building relationships is quite straightforward and you can improve your score within this section by improving your total number of connections, having a strong number of senior-level connections and having a good acceptance rate.??

In conclusion, LinkedIn is an obvious and essential part of every recruiter’s social media strategy.
