Measure Twice Money Video Course - Sale!
Cody Garrett, CFP?
Advice-only financial planner + educator passionate about empowering DIY investors and helping other planners accelerate their education and experience with a supportive community
I created my own comprehensive financial planning process - including customizable Word/Excel templates and calculators.
And I'm sharing all of it for only $399 ($150 off) through Friday, July 5th.
Here are the summaries you'll learn how to create throughout the 5-hour course:
Balance Sheet: Visualize your net worth (assets - liabilities) and review your assets by tax location (taxable, pre-tax, and tax-free).
Mortgage Flexibility + Debt Repayment: Review your mortgage and other debt to determine your remaining debt repayment period and the opportunity cost of paying it off more aggressively.
Pay Statement + Employee Benefits: Review your recent pay statements to estimate total earnings, deductions, and taxes, and understand your total compensation beyond base salary.
Values-Based Spending: Review your transactions to align your spending with what provides subjective value to you and your family.
Estate Documents: Review your Last Will, Powers of Attorney, Living Will, Trusts, and designated beneficiaries as you summarize them onto one page.
Investment Accounts: View all your accounts in one place to identify opportunities for consolidation and rebalancing, separated by tax location (taxable, pre-tax, and tax-free).
Asset Allocation Examples: Set up your investment allocation for each account type, using a Basic, Detailed, or Tax-Optimized approach. I prefer low-cost index ETFs. This example is not personalized investment advice.

Education Funding: Determine how much you need to save (annually or as a lump sum) to fund education expenses and which account types to consider (taxable brokerage, 529, UTMA).
Life Insurance: Calculate how much term life insurance coverage is appropriate for your unique situation without any conflicts of interest (I don't sell insurance).
Health Insurance: Learn how to review your health insurance options in early retirement (pre-Medicare), including how to shop for plans and estimate your premium tax credit based on household income/size/age/location.
Long-Term Care Funding: Learn about the cost of various long-term care options and create a personalized funding strategy.
Portfolio Savings Needs: Estimate how much you need to save and invest moving forward to retire at any desired age.
Social Security: Review your earnings history and estimate your Social Security retirement benefits, even if you plan to retire early.
Retirement Distribution Order of Operations: Create your retirement spending plan with an intentional, tax-optimized distribution strategy.
