The Meaning of Jesus Christ, "Physical Death"
Jesus Christ resurrection from the dead is the core of the Christian gospel, and so the significance of Easter is #jesus Christ's triumph over death. His resurrection means that we have eternal life granted, for all those who believe in Him. If Jesus wasn't raised from the dead, in other words, if he had just simply died, and not resurrected, he would be like any ordinary man. But, his resurrection confirms an undeniable rebuking, that he is GOD, and an overcomer of death. The Apostle Paul writes, 1 Cor. 15: 12 "But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no #resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins". So this begs the question! If Christ died for you and me, if he died to show us true love, self sacrifice and humility. Why do people still have the mindset of a lack faith in God? Why is there a wrong thinking or an errant theology, when having a conversation with unbelievers? When Jesus hung on the cross, and said, "It is #finished ". What did this mean for you and me? It means that our chosen accepted of Jesus paid the price of all our sin or iniquities; it means that we ought to 'talk' and 'walk' like Jesus; it means that we should remember daily who He is and what He did for us; it means that we should exercise our Trust and Faith in him; it means that we should give thanks and praise continuously for his goodness and mercy; it means we have been forgiven of ALL past sins; old ways of living, they are dead and buried, there should be a renewal, a resurrect of newness walking with Christ. And when he rose from the dead, this means that he is the King of Kings!, And the Lord over sin, death, and the grave!. Because of his death and resurrection, this seals the deal. It also proves, that we are overcomers over sickness, we are overcomers over the enemy and most importantly, we have resurrection hope of eternal life. Because He resurrected, as followers, we get to live! He lives! Let me ask you, "What challenges and #struggles are you facing"? And, "Why have you not left them at the Cross"? What are your thoughts??
