We would like to start the recap of an eventful month with the launch of Middle East & Africa Compliance Association in KSA.
Middle East & Africa Compliance Association?(MEACA) is making its mark in Saudi Arabia, and we are thrilled to be partners with OCR Services Inc. (Descartes Systems Group) as our exclusive Event Partner for our launch event in the Kingdom. With a proven track record in the UAE, MEACA is extending its operations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We are so incredibly grateful and truly humbled by the tremendous support?to all the wonderful people who took the time out of their busy schedules to come say hello and network with their fellow compliance cohort.

Additionally, we hosted two very interesting webinar in October.
First one “Profit By Prioritizing People: Making A Financial Case For Your Program”? was provided by Middle East & Africa Compliance Association (MEACA) in collaboration with Ethico.
Within this webinar our Co-CEO and Co-Founder Tomell deSilva Ceasar discussed with Nick Gallo , CEO of Ethico how to pitch your Compliance Program and expenses to the Senior Management.
To conclude the month of October Middle East & Africa Compliance Association and Covington & Burling LLP conducted a webinar and panel discussion on 26 October about "Lessons learned from U.S. DOJ guidance on compliance programs, and why it matters for companies in the Middle East and Africa"
The discussion were held by Jennifer H. Saperstein , Benjamin Haley and Noam Kutler . The webinar focused on the Biden Administration and highlighted that beside of the FCPA, the US has several other quite relevant legislations. Key points of these are self-disclosure and the incentivizing of such disclosure, full cooperation, the effect of Compliance programs on potential fines as well as recidivism.
