The membrane assembly (MEA) is an assembly stack of proton exchange membrane (Pems) or basic anion exchange membrane (AAEM), catalyst and flat electrode used in fuel cells and electrolytic cells.
?In recent years, ultrasonic spraying technology has only been applied in the field of fuel cells. Ultrasonic spraying is an effective method to reduce PT load of fuel cell. The optimum catalyst ink formula and platinum loading depend on the operating conditions. In terms of cost, the optimal platinum load must be combined with the cost of other core components. This extended cost analysis is an effective method to reduce the cost of fuel cell system. Generally speaking, direct methanol fuel cell and high temperature pemfc need more catalysts than low temperature pemfc. Therefore, ultrasonic spraying technology has great potential in manufacturing direct methanol fuel cells and high-temperature PEMFC.
