Me & UiPath, sitting in a tree ….

K.I.S.S.I.N.G

I've not been working at UiPath for long but already I feel like I've waited a long time to work for a company like this. This is a company that is honest, humble and transparent and it does exactly what it says on the tin. There's no bravado or arrogance because of how well it's doing. In fact it's the opposite. It's a continuance of the pre-success period which supports working hard and playing hard. A strong work-life balance.

In my 20 years of working in IT sales, I've never really got excited about technology because it's not my thing, it doesn't excite me in the same way the mountains do for example. But when I heard about RPA, and more to the point UiPath, all of that changed. For the first time in my sales career I feel excited about a technology that's revolutionising the market, and I'm thrilled to be on this journey with my clients and UiPath. You must've seen just how excited I am by the 2-3 minimum posts a day of UiPath or RPA information that I share.

I'm a simple girl, I like to be happy, busy and challenged. I do not like to have to do repeatable, mundane, boring tasks at work or at home because that doesn't make my day interesting. When I learnt that RPA means that we can give a software robot the tasks that are repeatable, unenjoyable, and that we don't want to spend time on, I was excited to learn what the art of the possible was. I've never been patient so to be able to get on with the exciting creative jobs instead of the boring ones really ticks all of my boxes, so RPA is a no brainer to me.

And surely people must think and feel like I do when it comes to their day and the rotten repeatable tasks they have to complete 5 days a week. The Public Sector market, where I spend my time, is already learning, assessing and reviewing how they can build RPA into their organisations and this interest is increasing every day. UiPath have a vision to have every person using a Robot and I don't think that's a stretch at all with the speed in which things are going. The savings being made on man hours, cost, increases in accuracy, and people being happier in their job says it all. Who wouldn't want to enjoy those savings?! So I'll go a step further than UiPath's vision and say that in the not too distant future, every computer purchased will already have a Robot built in at the point of purchase. They will be automatically defaulted in to each one so that everyone has the chance to benefit from this amazing personal assistant.

We dreamt of robots in our earlier movies, we've now had physical ones in factories for years running the production line, so now it's time for us to advance forward again with software robots. UiPath is simply taking the human out of the robot by giving us our valuable time back, and allowing us to enjoy the jobs we signed up to do.

Don't just take our word for it, with circa 10+ enterprise customers joining us every day, we're clearly doing something right for our customers too!?

I agree Linda, using RPA to stop humans trying to behave like robots, repeating the same actions again and again, has to be a good thing.?
