The article talks about the growth of concierge medicine and how MDVIP founding physicians, Dr. Bernard Kaminetsky and Dr. Robert Colton, founded the model in Boca Raton 16 years ago. MDVIP CEO Bret Jorgensen is also quoted, discussing MDVIP's growth and value of a close doctor-patient relationship.

Highlights:
“‘Coronary artery disease is the leading cause of death among men and women, and will affect half of all men and one-third of all women over the age of 40,’ Dr. Murray says. ‘More than half of those who suffer from sudden cardiac arrest had no prior symptoms. The good news? An individual’s lifestyle can greatly reduce the chance of developing heart disease and reduce the chance of a survivor having a recurrent event.’” – Princeton Packet
“‘We’re confident it will continue to attract doctors and patients,’ Bret Jorgensen says. ‘Where we find value is strengthening the relationship between doctor and patient, and we think that’s where the magic is.’” – Boca Life Magazine
“Dr. Kolender is like the captain of the ship. He has caught some overlaps where some treatment was good for one issue but wasn’t good for other parts of my body. I have had physicals that took 20 minutes – the one with Dr. Kolender took two and a half hours.” – Detroit Jewish News
