Jose Almeida cool writeup and cool topic. In my experience, unfortunately, most modern companies are a step behind your article: they don't realise yet that they need MDM or a CDP. They think that data is there, it must be more or less correct, and there's no need to worry about data quality. Or at least, this is what CTOs think and business people will simply trust them. It's hard to explain that this leads to bad business decisions.

Jose Almeida, Good topic. I see MDM complements any CDP platforms. MDM scope is mainly focusing on avoiding duplicate Master data records such as members, customers, products , regions and so on. For any CDP to be successful, unambiguous master data is essential to analyze transactional data.Transactional data is generally not part of Master Data Management requirements/scope while it is very much essential part of a CDP.
