On-Demand Webinar: Oman
Earlier this year we started monitoring mVAS ad flows in Oman. The market is growing and presents a great opportunity for players across the value chain to direct carrier billing and premium rate services. However, managing risk is always going to be an important element of a successful market entry strategy, as Kev D. and David Ashman discuss in our latest on-demand webinar.

Strengthen Your DDRC for the Ofcom Era!
Anyone operating in the UK market will be aware of forthcoming regulatory change. The ?transition from the Phone-Paid Services Authority (PSA) to the telecoms regulator Ofcom is underway, with Ofcom taking full responsibility from 1st February 2025. Inevitably this will mean some changes as we explore in this article, with due diligence and risk control (DDRC) taking centre stage.
Black Friday: Tackling Misleading Advertising
MCP’s Special Operations team use manual and automated service testing to identify compliance issues in mVAS advertising flows. We often see spikes in misleading advertising associated with events such as sports, festivals and holidays. Black Friday (also known as White Friday) is a prime example of this, as we explored in this article.
Navigating the Global Carrier Billing Landscape
In an increasingly complex carrier billing landscape, payment aggregators face growing challenges in balancing compliance, supporting CSPs, and driving sustainable revenue. In this insightful interview, MCP Insight Director Kev D. shares his experience across the DCB value chain and offers practical advice for aggregators.
Key Insights from the Global Carrier Billing & Mobile Payments Summit 24
At the beginning of Q4, MCP attended Global Carrier Billing and Mobile Payments Summit 2024 in Amsterdam, participating in two key conference sessions. This annual event is now co-hosted by MEF and Informa Tech, with a new venue and conference agenda. Kev Dawson was delighted to launch the publication of the MEF DCB Working Group’s latest report, Optimising the Customer Experience, and MCP’s Head of Compliance, David Ashman contributed to the panel discussion on “UK Regulation: Are you Ready for the Biggest Change in a Decade?” ?Recordings of both sessions are available to watch on our website.
