• Innovative Beginnings: Don McGuire opened McGuire Bearing Co. in Portland in 1954. His relentless pursuit of high-quality, value-oriented products empowered customers to build strong relationships of their own. To him, the customer was king.?
• Expanding Horizons: Over the years, McGuire expanded its footprint across the Pacific Northwest. Branches were established in Seattle (1961), Tacoma (1975), Spokane (1979), Eugene (1983), Boise (1989), Salem (1992), Salt Lake City (1997), and Idaho Falls (1998).
• Generational Leadership: In 1977, Don retired as president, paving the way for Hiliary Turner to assume the title. He held the position until 1984, passing the torch to the next generation. Tim McGuire became President, with Mike McGuire (VP Operations), Steve McGuire (VP Marketing), Dave McGuire (VP Sales), and Jim Conley (VP Finance) forming a dynamic leadership team. In 2019, Andy McGuire, the grandson of Don, assumed the role of President, bringing fresh perspectives and a commitment to continued innovation.
