MCU is responsible for controlling the various functions of the intercom and has a relatively large value in the circuit board. Maimai intercom is equipped with an 8-bit MCU FT60E011A from Huimang Microelectronics as the main control.

Some developers have developed wireless digital intercoms based on NXP dual-core MCU - LPC54114, using Silicon Labs' RF module solution SI4463, which are widely used in catering ordering machines, industrial applications, personnel search and rescue, etc.

Baofeng DM-5R digital intercom (professional intercom), the frequency range is VHF: 136-174MHz, UHF: 400-470MHz, the MCU also uses NXP's chip, MK22FN512, and uses Zhejiang Hongrui Communication's HR_C6000 elevator-specific full-duplex digital intercom module (positioned for high-end applications), the transceiver uses Litong AT1846S, the EEPROM uses K24C512, the amplifier comes from TDA2822, and the FLASH is Winbond's 25Q800.
