McCann publishes Kindle book on MHM
I just this week published another Kindle Book that I think some of my friends may enjoy. “MHM-CPA, Book One of Two” tells the story of how Mayer Hoffman McCann was born out of the Chicago-based national CPA firm, Lester Witte & Company. In the mid 1970’s, a few years after Nixon’s Watergate scandal, we had our own secret source of intrigue who called himself, “Deep Pockets”. This book tells a bit of the history of Lester Witte and Company and how Mayer and Hoffman became a part of that firm. It goes on to tell the story of the Deep Pocket letters that helped take down that national firm and how McCann and Mayer led the withdrawal of the Kansas City partners.
After reading this book, you may change your mind if you think the CPA profession is boring. And, you’ll want to read this to get the background that is necessary to enjoy “MHM-CPA, Book Two”. Book Two will be out soon. It may make some people mad at me. Oops!
Go to Amazon.com and Kindle Books and type in the name of the book or author.
