March is Women’s History Month, and Modern Campground has interviewed Susan Carpenter , President of the RV Women's Alliance , to discuss the role of women in the RV industry. Carpenter has seen significant changes in the opportunities for women but believes there is still work to be done to break down barriers to opportunities for women. The RV Women’s Alliance is committed to driving change and ensuring greater representation and advancement for women in the RV industry, providing opportunities for networking, learning, and sharing experiences. Carpenter advises women just starting in the RV industry to stay true to themselves and to network, raise their hands, get involved and volunteer, find mentors, and be present.

SpaceX to Test Satellite-to-Cell Service with T-Mobile for Improved Signal Coverage in Remote Camping Areas
SpaceX is teaming up with T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert for a joint initiative called "Coverage Above and Beyond." The goal is to bring STARLINK satellite coverage to compatible T-Mobile devices, providing near-complete coverage to the United States, including difficult places such as national parks and mountain ranges. Luxury Travel Company ‘Roam’ to Launch Glamping Experience in Saudi Arabia
Luxury travel company Roam has announced the launch of a glamping experience for travelers in Saudi Arabia. The nomad-style camp will be located in the mountainous region of Taif and will change location every eight to 12 weeks to follow the seasons. The accommodations will be equipped with outdoor music systems, yoga mats, and board games, and outdoor activities such as quad biking, archery, hiking, kite-flying, and stargazing will be available. Roam’s first tourism offering will allow guests to experience unique activities and local businesses. The company will work with locals and small businesses to offer guests experiences that are unique to each locale. Roam's mobile camps, e-buggies, and private dining at unique locations across the kingdom are among the products on offer. The camp’s mobility and focus on supporting local businesses align with the growing trend of sustainable and responsible tourism.
