Among the celebrated sites, CWMDU CAMPSITE LTD in Crickhowell stood out, winning Best Campsite in Mid Wales by impressing judges with its stunning Brecon Beacons location, exceptional facilities, and high guest satisfaction. Operated by Sarah Farr and her fiancé Calvin Clark, this family-run site has a rich heritage and has evolved significantly since its modest beginnings in the 1960s. Other noteworthy mentions include Spring Rock Fishery and Caravan Park, ideal for fishing enthusiasts, and Meadow Springs Country and Leisure Park, perfect for walking and relaxation. Gwerniago Camping Site earned accolades for being family- and dog-friendly, while Wigwam Holidays Builth Wells and Llangorse Multi Activity Centre were highlighted for their glamping amenities and adventure offerings.
