Conveniently located near major trails and national parks along I-80, this popular campground offers a blend of comfort and outdoor access, with amenities like RV pull-thru sites, tent sites, and cozy cabins. The Larsons aim to continue the campground's tradition of hospitality when it reopens in spring 2025 after its winter closure. As part of KOA’s vast network, the Rawlins site underscores the economic impact of camping, with travelers contributing an average of $156 daily to local economies.

CARVC’s 2025 Expo to Showcase Education and Networking Sessions for Campground Owners
The Carolinas Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (CARVC) has announced its 21st annual CARVC Conference & Expo, set for February 9-11, 2025, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Under the theme “Team Spirit: Uniting for Success,” the event will feature educational sessions, networking opportunities, and a 50-vendor trade show. Highlights include a keynote on team-building by Kelly Jones of Great Escape RV Resorts, sessions on marketing, data-driven decision-making, and water management, plus a CPR course and RV technical training.
