MBA students helping non profits

The initiative to help non profits by having university graduate and undergraduate students write strategic plans as part of a course is proceeding well. We are working with non profits in Canada and the USA, and there is no cost.?


Update Winter 2023

1) Human city project addressing inequity: strategic fund raising plan.

2) City based gay LGBTQ pride group: promotion and awareness and financing for obtaining a physical space.

3) Charity that helps low income mothers: promotion and awareness plan.

4) Group that supports deaf children: promotion and awareness plan.

5) Organization that rescues dogs: develop a strategic plan to achieve organizational goals.

6) Organization that helps marginalized students achieve learning and life goals: strategic plan for growth including volunteer structure.

7) Religious based organization: strategic plan to assist Ukrainian displaced persons including donor and social media plans.

8) Ukrainian refugee group that helps settle displaced Ukrainians. A fundraising and differentiation strategy.

9) A Metis led social enterprise that helps children improve health related issues, for example, alcoholism and residential schools. Strategic plan including governance, fundraising, expansion and promotion.

10) Child bearing education society. Plan to restructure the internal operations, promotion and financial viability.

1) a Ukrainian association: a strategic plan for a free supplies retail store and the association itself.

2) a child and youth organization: become a social enterprise and better establish its recycling for funding revenue stream.

3) a skills training non profit: a plan to help Ukrainians develop Canadian job market skills.

4) a community service organization: a strategic plan to help Ukrainians and develop an organizational business model.

5) immigrant aid society: develop a corporate governance model and funding plan.

6) Ukrainian charity: a strategic plan for funding model, promotion and positioning.

7) An IT training centre that helps disadvantaged people to learn IT job skills: Develop social media promotion plan.

8) An institute that focuses on the economic empowerment of women: Competitive analysis and promotion plan to donors.

9) An institute that focuses on the empowerment through education of disadvantage individuals: Promotion and strategic plans.

10) A social enterprise that sells inclusion/diversity products to help military veterans: Develop a strategic marketing plan.

Congrats on a triple win: students/learners get real hands on project before they graduate to add to their portfolio/CV/resume, NFP get fresh eyes/ideas, and university builds bridges to groups outside the campus. We do help professor, Non-Profit Organizations, and I was one of your EMBA Ufred students. I'm a board member at the Depot one of the largest food banks in Montreal and, support another program for Dads called Papa et Moi.
