If you have faith in yourself, you can accomplish everything you set your mind to. There are no restrictions here; the only ones you impose are those you place on yourself. “MBA Chai Wala” Prafull Billore was tenacious in pursuing his goals and was successful. He had his fair share of obstacles, but he overcame them to reach his current position. His accomplishment acts as motivation for young people today.

After three consecutive failures in the CAT test, he understood that not everyone is fortunate enough to land well-paying employment. Prafull made the decision to discontinue his studies in the middle of it and opened a little "thela" (cart) outside his ideal university, IIM Ahmedabad. Fast forward five years, the 25-year-old is now a multi-millionaire entrepreneur who is planning to establish itself in 200 Indian cities and create more than 1,000 employment.

MBA Chaiwala's initial difficulty

Prafull Billore started working at McDonald’s for a salary of INR 200 per day of work, roughly amounting up to Rs. 6000/month. Climbing up the ladder at McDonald’s by initially starting as a housekeeping staff and finally ending up as a cashier. Although he was making good progress, he despised the idea of working for someone else and wanted to establish an identity for himself. As he also said in one of his interviews.

“Kab tak customer rahoge, creator toh bano”

He often wondered, “Why sell burgers for someone else, when I can make and sell on my own,” and that led to the inception of the 3-crore MBA Chaiwala empire.

Expansion of MBA CHAI WALA INDIA

The tea shop quickly evolved into a network of restaurants and franchisees. Prafull's perseverance and commitment paid off, and MBA Chaiwala gained recognition among chai drinkers all throughout India.

Prafull Billore has contributed his tea to around 200 events, including ones promoting women's empowerment, business, the LinkedIn program, and other topics. In order to share the warmth and love of his chai, he received invitations to cater wedding events and even political rallies.

In addition to concentrating on the chai business, Prafull organises fundraising social events and campaigns to assist humanitarian concerns including the economic empowerment of women and impoverished people.

The success story of Prafull Billore does not end with his chai store. His achievement was widely publicized, and guess what?
