Mazimize Work Not Done

Agile Manifesto! What does it mean to "maximize the amount of work not done" when you are expected to maximize delivery?

While reading up about the 12 principles in the Agile Manifesto, the principle on maximising the amount of work not done caught my attention the most.?

Turns out, for one to maximize what amount of work they know they are NOT doing, they have to first know the full breadth of the work, analyze and draw conclusions and focus on what delivers the most desired/valuable results. The rest can be done later or never.??

I think this principle can have applications in my personal work and beyond.

What’s your thought??
