Maze of life

Some people feel that life is like riding a roller coaster. You have ups and downs, twists and turns, the road can be unpredictable and rocky. I prefer to think of it as a huge maze. Without Jesus we are lost in the maze of life. The last time I went in a corn maze my husband went in first and I followed. It was dark and I didn't know which way to go. We were separated when I took a wrong turn and could not find my way out. I felt alone, afraid and anxiety had overcome me. Why didn't I take his hand like he told me to. I thought I could do it by myself. That's how the devil wants us to think about going to church, reading the bible and spending time in prayer. It's not necessary we can do it on our own. But instead we are so lost that we grab hold of anything that Satan fires our way. Without the light of the world to lead us we will never find our way out. Jesus beckons us to follow him. He dumps our sin, shame and guilt out and fills us with his Holy Spirit. Then He sends us back into the maze of life to let His light shine through us. Encouraging and helping others find their way to Jesus is our purpose in life. Have a bless day letting your light shine. Karen
